7 Movies You Won't Believe Deepika Padukone Rejected.
1) Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
It was one of the highest opening movies of 2015 and Deepika was the first choice for the female lead, which she turned down for Bajirao Mastani. We are sure she won’t regret the decision at all!
2) Sultan
Deepika rejected Sultan as well! What is it with her and Salman?
3) Kick
Oops, she did it again! Someone seriously needs to start an investigation here. Why won’t she work with Salman at all?
4) Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Meera, who was eventually played by Katrina, was supposed to be played by Deepika. Watching the duo recreate the Om Shaanti Om chemistry would have made JTHJ a tad more interesting, we believe.
5) Fast and Furious 7
She could have chosen the ‘Priyanka Chopra Route’ and gone to Hollywood, but she chose to do Chennai Express instead! If that sounds like a mistake, let us remind you that Chennai Express’ total collections were 348 crores.
6) Roy
Yep, and we are super happy that she rejected this one. Though it would have been lovely watching Deepika move to the tunes of Chittiyan Kalaiyaan!
7) Dhoom 3
Her prior commitments forbade Deepika from becoming the Kamli girl, and the role went to Katrina instead. Sorry Deepika, but Kat made sure that we didn’t miss you at all in the film!
